TINY LIBRARY 2021, where participants were challenged to design a Tiny Library optimized for 100 users, equipped with traditional reading material including modern formats like e-books, audio-books and audiovisual books.

The main goal of the proposed library was to function as a centralized think tank for the local communities with an aim to boost public interactions and community development. The project evolved from the concept of interaction and transparency. Interaction with its immediate site, architectural heritage, and wider cultural context of Gemmayzeh Street and L’Escalier de L’Art.

With libraries being a landmark to their surroundings, we have tried to make our design proposal iconic, inviting, create a statement of its own on the chosen site “L’Escalier de L’Art”.
